For the fifth year, IIE has the great opportunity to work on behalf of the Qatar Foundation to coordinate the WISE Program for Education Leadership, a three-day leadership training for new university leaders in developing countries. Since 2010, we’ve worked with nearly 60 new university presidents, rectors, and vice-chancellors from at least 31 different countries. This year’s training will take place in Doha, Qatar from November 1 – 3, 2014, and all WISE Leadership participants are automatically invited to stay in Doha for the annual WISE Summit from November 4 – 6. If selected, roundtrip airfare to Doha and most in-country costs are covered by the program.

The 2014 application cycle is now open and applications are due on June 13, 2014. It would be great if you could forward this application to your global contacts and make them aware of this excellent opportunity. Candidates should fulfill all of the following criteria:

· The applicant must be a Vice Chancellor, Rector, President or chief executive officer at the university. The applicant must not be a subordinate official.

· The applicant must represent a higher education institution in a developing country

· The applicant must have assumed their current leadership position on or after January 1, 2013

· High proficiency in English
