Landscape as Urbanism in the Americas

 

The Harvard Graduate School of Design Office for Urbanization, led by Professor Charles Waldheim, in collaboration with DRCLAS, and universities and institutions in the region, will host three symposia, which will be held in Medellin (March 15), Santiago (March 18), and Brasilia (March 21), to discuss the topic of Landscape as Urbanism in the Americas. The symposia will convene a series of discussions on the potentials for landscape as a medium of urban intervention in the specific social, cultural, economic, and ecological contexts of Latin American cities.

The symposia are free and open to the public. They will be conducted in English, with simultaneous interpretation available in Spanish. For more information, please click here.
